How can readers challenge or correct this site?
A correction should identify the exact claim, the evidence and what needs to change.
A source-linked website should be open to a source-linked correction. Finding an error is a reason to improve the record, not to defend a sentence because it has already been published.
Describe the problem precisely
A useful correction identifies the article, the exact sentence or figure and the evidence that changes it. Include the original document, date and relevant page, table or section where possible.
You can prepare a correction in this format:
Article and version: [title, URL and version]
Claim to check: [exact sentence or figure]
Supporting record: [original source and locator]
Issue: [incorrect value, missing context, outdated status, unsupported interpretation or another specific problem]
Proposed correction: [wording, or the uncertainty that should replace the claim]
This template does not require you to supply a personal political affiliation or expose sensitive documents publicly.
Separate disagreement from an error
A disagreement about priorities may not be a factual correction. But an interpretation can still be misleading if it rests on a wrong number, omits decisive context or presents an allegation as a finding.
A broken source link also deserves attention. Replacing it requires checking the new document, not merely finding another URL with a similar title.
Make substantive changes visible
A substantive correction should record what was wrong, what changed and when. Related charts, summaries and translations should be updated too. A quiet edit is insufficient when readers may have relied on a materially different claim.
A typo that does not change the meaning can be handled differently from a corrected case outcome or misreported statistic. The correction record should match the significance of the change.
Keep the evidence trail
Preserve the earlier article version and the reason for the change in the site's version history. Do not preserve unnecessary private information merely to make an audit trail look complete.
A new report does not necessarily make a correctly dated historical figure false. The correction may instead be to label the reference period more clearly, add a newer edition or remove an unsupported claim that the old figure was “current”.
For a correction, identify the article, quote the disputed sentence, and include the source and date supporting your proposed change. Leave out unnecessary personal information.

The check date records a research check, not continuous monitoring or a guarantee of current law.
