- Who should fix this road or bus service?A useful transport complaint identifies the asset or service and the authority responsible for it.
- Who should answer for unsafe water or poor sanitation?A connection, a functioning service and safe water are different claims requiring different evidence.
- What do jobs numbers say about finding decent work?Employment, unemployment, participation and decent work answer different questions.
- Why are groceries getting expensive?Inflation describes a change in a measured basket of prices. It does not tell you that every household’s bill rose by the same amount.
- Who is responsible for schools, exams and recruitment failures?Teacher counts, facilities and learning outcomes answer different questions. Start by identifying the school or examination authority and the evidence relevant to the failure.
- Why does public healthcare fail some patients?Health spending tells you something about financing, not whether a particular patient received timely care. Read the spending shares and investigate the facility separately.
- Who is accountable for the air I breathe? An AQI number summarises monitored pollution. It does not identify the polluter, measure every person’s exposure or show that an authority enforced the rules.
